Dr Sowmya N S (MBBS, DGO, MRCOG (UK), MRCPI, EFOG-EBCOG, FACOG) is Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of StudyMEDIC Academy Private Limited, Kerala, India, and Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nyle Hospital, Thrissur. She chairs the International Coordination Committee of the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). At StudyMEDIC she leads product development, content strategy and operations across a faculty network supporting candidates in more than 90 countries. Her work focuses on competency-based curriculum design, digital pedagogy and widening access to specialist training in resource-limited settings, including NMC CBME-aligned undergraduate programmes and structured MRCOG preparation pathways incorporating OSCE simulation. She has 10 years’ experience in medical education leadership and received the Medical Education Excellence Award from the Government of Kerala in 2023.
